Momentum only matters
if it's applied.

Welcome to the second edition of the Stellar Summit, following its debut in Toronto. This edition brings together the largest concentration of qualified professionals in the Stellar ecosystem — developers, software architects, and product & business leaders — for a hands-on, practical week of building, learning, and connecting.

The schedule is fluid and may shift with the flow of the event. Throughout the Summit, the venue works as a coworking space for selected professionals — expect a relaxed, non-corporate vibe with ping pong, pinball, foosball, and lounge areas built for creativity and connection.

Practical Information

Weather & What to Pack

  • Winter in São Paulo: mild and dry. Days 22–25°C (72–77°F), nights 10–13°C (50–55°F).
  • Driest time of year — rain unlikely. Mornings/evenings feel cool: pack layers (light jacket + t-shirt).
  • UV index stays high on clear days — bring sunscreen even in winter.
  • The city is spread out — comfortable shoes recommended.

Getting Around

  • Uber and 99 (local ride-hailing app) are the easiest and safest way to get around.
  • Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is the main entry point, 40–60 min from most central hotels — traffic can be heavy, budget extra time.
  • The metro is efficient for a few routes but limited in coverage; ride-hailing is recommended.

Safety

  • Stay mindful of belongings in crowded areas and avoid displaying phones/jewelry near open car windows.
  • Use the hotel safe for your passport; carry a photo or copy instead of the original when out.
  • Stick to Uber/99 rather than street taxis, especially at night.
  • Emergency numbers: 190 (police) · 192 (ambulance/SAMU) · 193 (fire department).

Language & Culture

  • Portuguese is the local language; event staff and most hotel/venue teams speak English. A translation app is handy.
  • Brazilians are warm and informal — handshakes or a cheek kiss among acquaintances are common; punctuality tends to be a bit more relaxed than in the US/Europe.
  • Outlets: mostly type N (many hotels also accept A/C plugs), 110V or 220V depending on the building — bring a universal adapter.
